On the morning of Thursday, May 1st 2014, a group of 30 volunteers of the Kulai Adventist Community Centre were ready to serve the community through their health awareness campaign. By the time Tesco Kulai opened its doors to the costumers, the team was ready to provide Health screening services and to receive those who would voluntarily donate blood.
The day went through receiving many community folk. The blood donation quota of 100 people was filled by noon time. At the same time, the health screening team continued to provide BMI, body fat analysis, blood pressure test, blood sugar test. All these tests were summarized and a lifestyle report was provided to them. The result of their report was shared with them by health promoters from the community as well as Dr. Kok, who readily supported the program. The program came to a close at 4:30pm with the attendance of 100 blood donors and 130 individuals completing the health screening circuit.
