JB Health Training in Preparation for Health Expo

25-26 June 2009 – An enthusiastic crowd of volunteers gathered at the premise of JB church from Friday night until Saturday evening to be trained for their respective roles during the coming JB City Health Expo from 2nd until 3rd August 2009.

The event started on Friday night, with a challenge from Jane Yap on becoming a Health Promoter. On Sabbath, the church was filled with crowd comprising of BM, Tamil-speaking and English speaking members – all awaiting with eager anticipation to the actual training.

With the help of ACC team – Rose, Osward, Allan & Tabby – the training kicked off at 2:30 PM, with every NEWSTART stations filled up with volunteers – cooking, hydrotherapy, massage, health screening, computerized results – it was an amazing sight to see the enthusiasm and energy of everyone in the room.

The program ended with a commitment prayer and with everyone waiting in anticipation for the coming big event in August.
