First Community Health Expo in 2010 Held in Pandamaran Klang

As part of the preparation for the opening of Klang Adventist Community Health Centre in collaboration with the Health Promotion Board Malaysia, a community health expo was conducted in Taman Chiu Ling Flats in Pandamaran Klang. The event was led by 8 Medical Missionaries who are currently under training at the Adventist Community Health Centre (ACC) in Cheras, in collaboration with Klang Indian group health team led by Ms. Florence Devany; they worked tirelessly serving the people in the community through BMI & Fat analysis, glucose check, Blood Pressure screening, 3-minute step test and Health Counselling. A display of the NEWSTART exhibit was also seen and a total of 105 individuals consisting of Chinese, Malays & Indians attended and benefited from the event.
